Glori Slate came from a broken home and was raised by a single mother. By the age of 20, she was married with two children and her main focus was to provide a stable environment for her children, where with she herself did not have. Later, at 27 years old, Glori encountered God, surrendering her life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Since then, she has learned what it means to truly love, and be loved, as God intends according to His Word. Glori and her husband have been married for 26 years and raised both daughters who are now married and are all serving the Lord today.
Glori naturally relates well to young women struggling with problems often associated with children coming from broken homes, especially having the experience of being raised without a father. Her volunteer experience includes seven years as an Academic Supervisor and aPhysical Education Instructor for a Christian school and as a volunteer for five years at the Brooklyn Teen Challenge, where she worked under Ms. Dotty Bolger. Glori currently is the Women's Program Director who now leads women to gaining victory in their life through the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
She participates in Outreach/Street Ministry events, and travels to the Westmoreland County Prison to minister to incarcerated women. Glori is an Ordained Minister, has her Associates Degree in Dietary Management and, along with her husband, owns and manages rental property. Glori’s desire is to be a witness of the power of God’s love and to share His love with everyone that she comes into contact with.
